How Viter Started

Viter Home Lab was born in a cluttered garage, not a corporate boardroom.

Our founder, Jake, was tired of three things: flimsy tools that broke after a few uses, overpriced “pro” gear he didn’t really need, and online stores that made everything sound more complicated than it is.

He started testing different tools, comparing quality, weight, grip, and real-world performance on actual home projects – hanging shelves, fixing doors, assembling furniture, organizing storage, and more. The idea was simple:

if a product didn’t deliver real value in everyday use, it didn’t make the cut.

What began as a personal search for reliable gear turned into Viter Home Lab – an online space where DIY beginners and home enthusiasts can find tools and accessories that actually work for real homes and real lives.
